Frequently Asked Questions
Naturally, you’ll have a lot of questions, so we’ve compiled a list of the most common ones we are asked to help you.
Inner Shift is a transformational approach that helps you release what’s been holding you back and reset to who you really are beneath the stress, anxiety, and mental noise. Rather than managing symptoms, we work at the root cause of patterns such as anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, feeling stuck, or disconnected -allowing change to happen quickly and sustainably.
Traditional therapy often focuses on analysing the past or managing symptoms over time. Inner Shift works differently. We focus on why the issue is happening now, how it’s being created internally, and what needs to shift for it to dissolve — rather than repeatedly talking about the problem. Because we work at the level where patterns are formed, this approach is often much faster. Many issues can be significantly resolved — and sometimes completely cleared — in just one session, rather than over months or years.
There’s no set session length. Some changes happen very quickly, while others need a little more space. Each session lasts as long as it needs to for meaningful change to occur. This isn’t about clock-watching or hourly therapy — it’s about resolving the issue effectively.
Inner Shift supports people with anxiety and overthinking, stress and overwhelm, feeling stuck or disconnected, low confidence and self-doubt, emotional blocks or repeating patterns, phobias or fears, weight and body-related struggles, burnout, and loss of direction. If you feel “this shouldn’t still be an issue for me”, Inner Shift is likely a good fit.
Some shifts happen instantly. Others unfold gently over time. Some sessions create immediate relief or clarity, while others support ongoing integration and steady progress. At times, as one layer clears, something deeper may become visible. This is a natural part of the process and a sign that your system is ready to go further — not that anything has gone wrong.
No, I don’t need to know your full story. In fact, the less detail I know, the better. We focus on the pattern that’s operating now, not the story of how it began. When the pattern shifts, the emotional charge naturally dissolves — without reliving the past.
Not at all. You don’t need to understand or believe in any technique. You simply need to be open, honest with yourself, and willing to engage in the process.
It’s both — grounded and human. Inner Shift recognises that you are not your thoughts, emotions, or stories, while remaining practical, relatable, and rooted in everyday life.
Sessions are conversational, guided, and tailored to you. I’ll either gently guide you or ask specific questions to help uncover how your mind is currently holding the issue – often through images, sounds, sensations, emotions, or internal dialogue. By working directly with the subconscious mind and the way it organises experience (such as shapes, colours, sounds, and feelings), we’re able to shift patterns at their source rather than just talking about them.
That’s often when Inner Shift works best. Many clients come after therapy, coaching, courses, and years of self-help — not because those didn’t help, but because the underlying pattern was never addressed.
You’ll be gently guided, never forced. Sometimes growth means moving through something briefly, but you’ll always feel safe, supported, and respected throughout the process.
There’s no fixed number. Some people come for a specific issue; others continue because of the clarity and ease they experience.
Yes. Completely. Your sessions are private, safe, and held with integrity and respect.
If you’re ready to stop managing symptoms and start resolving the root cause — and you want to return to a calmer, clearer version of yourself — Inner Shift is likely a good fit.
